Sautéed Quelites

This sauted quelites recipe is a great side or lunch meal with the addition of some beans and tortillas or crust sourdough bread on the side.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Fresh quelites 

  • ¼ cup  Onion Diced

  • 2 tbsp. Canola Oil

  • ¾ tsp. Salt

  • ½ tsp. Red Pepper Crushed

  • Prepared Pinto Beans

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a medium sauté pan and cook onions for about 2 minutes.

  2. Add quelites and mix until combined with onions.

  3. Add salt, crushed red pepper and continue to cook for about 10 – 15 minutes.

  4. Combine with cooked pinto beans, or enjoy with red chile, or both!
